The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Volleyball Holds Annual Banquet
March 28, 2009
SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Texas State volleyball team held its annual banquet tonight in the Maroon and Gold room, where they celebrated their 2008 season and honored their seniors. Four awards were presented to the 2008 team at the banquet. All awards were voted on by the team and coaches. The Rookie of the Year award went to Amber Calhoun. Two people took home the Most Improved honor and they were Ally Buitron and Bianca Endersby. For the Bobcat Fight award Buitron and Jessica Weynand were the recipients. The biggest award of the night was the Most Valuable Player award and it went to junior outside hitter, Jessica Weynand. The 2008 Texas State volleyball team ended its season with a Southland Conference Championship and a SLC Tournament Runner-up award. The team will say goodbye to its three seniors, Lawrencia Brown, Amy Weigle and Emily Jones Wilkes. The three seniors leave Texas State with 11 school records.
