The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Rainout Secures Championship Berth for 'Cats
April 14, 2007 HAMMOND, La. - Texas State wrapped up a berth to next week's Southland Conference Tennis Championships in San Antonio next week without playing a match Saturday. The Bobcats' match at Southeastern Louisiana was cancelled due to locally heavy rains. Severe thunderstorms rolled into the area early Saturday morning and rain was forecast to continue throughout the day, forcing the match's cancellation. Texas State is 10-6 overall and currently in fourth in the Southland Conference standings at 6-3. The Bobcats will close out the regular season at Nicholls State Sunday. Southeastern (17-2, 9-0 SLC) will now play host to Texas-Arlington (13-2, 8-1 SLC), which also had its Saturday match with Nicholls State cancelled. Those two teams will now play Sunday with the conference championship on the line. The winner of Sunday's showdown will be the top seed at the SLC Tournament which begins Friday on the campus of Texas-San Antonio.
