ARLINGTON - Texas-Arlington swept doubles play then won five of six singles matches to open Southland Conference play with a 6-1 win over Texas State Sunday.

Texas State had a three-match winning streak snapped with the loss. The Bobcats continue a road swing to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex Monday afternoon at SMU.
