2009: Played in 58 games as an outfielder...recorded 132 at bats with 33 hits and 20 walks...her best game was on Feb. 8 against Bethune-Cookman when she went 3-for-3 with a double...she committed zero errors all season long...she also drove in 13 runs and stole four bases while only being caught once.
Sophomore (2008): Tello started 52 of 53 games for Texas State...She was one of six Texas State players named to the Southland Conference Second Team...The center fielder tallied 178 at-bats for 49 hits, 34 runs, 12 RBI's, four doubles, three triples and four stolen bases for a batting average of .275...In the final game of the regular season against McNeese State she tallied two hits, a run, an RBI and triple to help the Bobcats to a 4-1 win over the Cowgirls...In the outfield she recorded 60 put-outs and four assists...She had a season-high four put-outs against Sam Houston State.
Freshman (2007): Started 45 games in left and center field while appearing in 53...Batted .185 with six RBI and 14 runs scored...Led Texas State with 12 sacrifice hits...Tied for first on the team in stolen bases with 11 steals in 13 attempts...Reached base three times in a win against St. John's, going 2-for-3 with a walk, run, RBI and a stolen base...Had a season-high three hits against McNeese State, going 3-for-4 with a run, RBI and a stolen base...Went 2-for-2 with a run and RBI in the SLC Tournament semifinal against Sam Houston State.
Cypress Falls HS: At Cypress Falls HS was a First Team All-District all four years as the Golden Eagles shortstop under coach John Hughes...Won the Cy Falls MVP award in 2005 and the Eagle Award in 2006.
