The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Gustafsson Named Golfer of the Month

FRISCO - After capturing an individual championship in her first collegiate tournament earlier this month, Texas State freshman golfer Linn Gustafsson was honored as the Southland Conference's Golfer of the Month Wednesday. Gustafsson shot a two-under par 69 during the final round of the Chip-N Club Invitational at the University of Nebraska two weeks ago to shoot a three-round score of 212 (-1) to win the tournament by eight strokes. The Ekero, Sweden, native also helped lead five Texas State freshmen to a team title at the tournament. Texas State returns to action next Monday and Tuesday at the Marilyn Smith Sunflower Invitational at Kansas State University. The tournament will be played at Colbert Hills Golf Club. Men's golfer Andrew Bryant was an honorable mention selection for the men's conference award Wednesday. He had a top five finish during the first month of the season. Through four rounds, Bryant leads the Bobcats with a 72.25 stroke average. The men also return to action next Monday and Tuesday, competing at the UTA/Waterchase Invitational at Fort Worth's Waterchase Golf Club.
