BASTROP - Texas State posted the second-best team score of the day as a final day push had the Bobcats finish in a tie for seventh at the inaugural Challenge at Wolfdancer in Bastrop hosted by the `Cats.

Northwestern claimed the team title with a final score of 911, while Baylor's Hannah Burke shot a five under 67 in the final round to win the individual crown. The Bobcats finished tied with fellow Southland Conference member Lamar with a three-round score of 939, tops among four SLC teams in the 13 team field.

Texas State had two players finish in the top 20 of the individual leaderboard. Linn Gustafsson led the `Cats with a total score of 228 that tied for eighth, and Sehee Kim tallied a 235 to finish in 20th.

Iowa State finished five strokes back and Middle Tennessee State finished 10 back to round out the top three team totals.
