The Houston Comets and Sacramento Monarchs will play Monday night at Strahan Coliseum. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m.

Houston, Texas - In consideration of the effects of Hurricane Ike on parts of the Gulf Coast region, the WNBA's Houston Comets game against the Sacramento Monarchs will move to Texas State's Strahan Coliseum Monday night. The game, which was postponed from Friday, September 12 to Monday, September, 15 will tip off at 7:00 p.m. and doors to the Coliseum with open at 6:00 p.m.

Fans in possession of a ticket for last Friday's game will receive admission to the game at Strahan Coliseum. In addition, all season, partial plan, group or individual game ticket holders unable to attend the game will receive a credit for a Houston Comets game during the 2009 season.

Tickets for the rescheduled game are $10 for the general public and will go on sale at 6:00 p.m. on September 15 at the Texas State Athletics Ticket Office located at the corner of Aquarena Springs Drive and Charles Austin Drive on the Texas State campus. Special $5 tickets also will be available to Texas State's students and Bobcat Club members who present a current identification card. In addition, San Antonio Silver Stars season ticket holders who present a ticket stub from the September 13 game vs. Sacramento at the ticket office can purchase a $5 ticket.

Strahan Coliseum, an $8.8 million, 7,200-seat facility was completed for use in 1982 for both Texas State University's men's and women's basketball teams, as well as the volleyball team.
