SAN MARCOS, Texas - Texas State lost 65-51 to Texas-Arlington in Texas Hall Wednesday. The Bobcats move to 13-13 on the season and 10-5 in the SLC.

Tori Talbert scored 17 points and pulled down six boards for the Bobcats. Ashley Perkins and Ally Kelly combined for ten points from the Texas State's bench.

Texas State started the game leading UT-Arlington, 7-2. With 10:15 left in the first half the Bobcats were up 15-9. A jumper by Tamesha Graves at the 3:59 mark tied the score at 21. The Mavericks moved ahead of the Bobcats with seven consecutive points scored by Rola Ogunoye, to lead 30-28 at the half.

The Mavericks came out after the break and increased their lead, 37-30. Perkins got the Bobcats going on an 8-0 run to recapture a one-point lead with 12 minutes left in the game. UTA regained the lead for the final time with a 15-0 run, sparked by Graves.

The Bobcats shot 43.2 percent from the floor and 69.2 percent from the line. The Mavericks shot 37.9 percent from the floor and 68.2 percent form the line. UTA out rebounded Texas State 36-33.

Tamara Thompson had nine points and six boards for the Bobcats.

Ogunoye led all scorers with 24 points and recorded the double double with 13 boards.

Texas State's final game of the regular season will be Friday at 5:30 p.m. at Strahan Coliseum. The Bobcats will play host to Texas-San Antonio as they celebrate senior night and determine their seeding for the conference tournament.
