Roberson, Gerlich Wrap Up Day Two at NCAA Regionals

Austin, Texas - Corey Roberson dropped eight strokes in the second round of the NCAA Regional Tournament for a solid 75, while Jeff Gerlich mimicked the feat with a 75 himself to close out day two at the UT Golf Club in Austin, Texas this afternoon.

Roberson is now tied in 62nd-place with a two-round score of 158. Gerlich drops to 28th-place with a two-round score of 149.

Lance Lopez of Texas holds in the individual lead with a five-under par 137. Lopez aids the first-place Longhorn team, who stand alone by two strokes with a 576.

Texas Tech is in second place with a 578 after two rounds and Florida sits in third with a 580 team score. UNLV takes fourth place into the final round with a 585 and Stanford rounds out the Top-5 with a 593.

The Bobcats will wrap up tournament action Saturday morning and player scores can be followed on www.GolfStat.com.

The top five teams and single individual not on those five teams will advance to the NCAA Championship Tournament.
