The Bobcat men's basketball team is headed to Katy, TX to take on the rest of the Southland Conference at the Merrell Center in the 2010 SLC Basketball Tournament. One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Fall 2009 2007-08 Competed in 6 tournaments this spring. Krebsbach's top performance came at the UTSA Oak Hills Invitational where he shot a 3-round total of 217(+1) and finished tied for 19th. His best finish came at UALR/First Tee Collegiate Classic where he finished tied for 7th overall and shot a 3-round total of 220(+4). Posted a pair of Top Five finishes at Collegiate Players Tour events during the summer of 2007 ... was third at the CPT national championship. Churchill HS: Three-time state qualifier ... twice named to Express-News Super Team and All-Area squad ... played on Churchill's three-time District 26-5A and Region champion teams ... was the District 26-5A champion as a junior ... went on to finish third at the regional tournament ... team were the Class 5A runners-up junior season ... was a three-time All-District 26-5A selection ... also a four-time Academic All-District pick.
