There are several business and other Texas State properities around Bobcat Stadium. These areas are not controlled by the tailgating committee and are consider open access areas. Fans are encouraged to follow the following rules:

1. No tailgating is allowed on the recreation fields located next to Bobcat Village or on the Texas State golf course.
   
2. Tailgating is allowed in the Mill Street parking areas
   
3. Please note where you are parking. Fans park at their own risk and should not park or tailgate in lots reserved for businesses.
   
4. Driving or parking private vehicles on greenspaces is prohibited. Tailgating supplies must be carried by hand to the site from the designated "Loading Zones."
   

High Occupancy Vehicles are considered buses, RV, vans or trailers.

1. RV and trailers are allowed in the designed tailgate area on the east side of Bobcat Stadium. Person wishing to tailgate with these vehicles must purchase an RV pass for $150. To do so please contact the tailgating office at 512.245.7000 or the athletics department at 512.245.2114.
   
2. Other high occupancy vehicles should unload in designated areas and proceed to park in the HOV areas (Mill Street Parking and Hidden Village) until the conclusion of the game.
   
3. Generators must be equipped with a noise reducing device (manufacturer-approved cover or muffler). Special care and consideration should be taken when managing fuel and extension cords affiliated with generators.
   
4. When parking these vehicles following parking lot markings and take up as few spots as possible.
   

When it comes to reaching a select audience -- Texas State football fans -- nothing beats a sponsorship at Bobcat Tailgating. You can reach hundreds of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the university in one place, at an event where everyone is relaxed and having a great time.

1. All businesses/vendors looking to promote and/or sale a product or service must purchase a reserved spot. The cost of the spot is $250 and must be reserved by game day.
   
2. Businesses may not partner with student groups or community groups to advertise their products or services. Advertising products or services includes, but is not limited to hanging banners, display paraphernalia or putting up a branded tent.
   
3. Special groups who do not want to look for a spot in free space designed areas, but are looking to have a dedicated reserved spot can do so for $250. For additional investment these reserved spots can be setup with a tent, tables and chairs for an additional $200.

Visiting team fans looking for a reserved spot can obtain one for no-charge by contacting Texas State Athletics at 512.245.2114. Designated spots are located in the Strahan Coliseum parking lot located off of Aquarena Springs Drive.

1. Texas State Athletics will only reserve a space for visiting team special events.
   
2. The group is responsible for all other costs associated with setting up the tailgate area including renting a tent, tables and chairs, setup and tear down, power and catering.
   
3. If the area is set up before 3 hours before kick-off there will be no charge for parking. After this time parking will be $5 per car.

Persons with RV's must tailgate in designated areas or park in the Open Access Sites indicated above.

1. RV tailgating is located in lots AZ-10E (Eastside lot of Bobcat Stadium) and AZ-10W (Westside lot of Bobcat Stadium).
   
2. All RV's who wish to park and or tailgate in this areas must have an RV pass at the cost $150 per game. To obtain a pass call the tailgate office at 512.245.7000 or the Texas State Athletics office at 512.245.2114.
   
3. To get into the AZ-10W lot you must have a Bobcat Club parking pass or an RV pass.
