Friday Night Lights Image Gallery April 3, 2007 SAN MARCOS - Texas State University's End Zone Complex will take center stage Wednesday as scenes taped at the home of Bobcat football will be apart of Wednesday's episode of Friday Night Lights. The critically-acclaimed series airs at 7 p.m. on NBC. Friday Night Lights centers around the town of Dillon, Texas, and its promising football team led by first-year coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler). In recent episodes, Coach Taylor has told his family he has accepted a coaching position at Texas Methodist University. Texas State's End Zone Complex was transformed into the football training facility of Texas Methodist University for this week's episode. Bobcat football coach Brad Wright as well as athletic staff members and Texas State students were part of the day-long taping more than a month ago. Wednesday's episode, "Best Laid Plans," is one of the final two episodes of the season. This is the second episode which has had scenes taped on the Texas State campus. Earlier in the season, scenes of a cheerleading competition were taped in Strahan Coliseum.
