Opening Statement...
I'm excited for this football team going into week eight. They're still improving. We're getting better offensively and defensively each week, our special teams are getting better, and it's a tribute to how hard these young men are working in practice. You saw some guys who weren't here last year, different people whose names you will be familiar with as they grow in this program. The person I'm the most proud of tonight is Daniel Jolly, the senior whose had his share of ups and downs and what a wonderful thing for him to refocus.
On being back in the SLC hunt...
The title hunt's great. When you're young like we are you're living week-to-week. We've got to go to Northwestern State and do our best to take this show on the road.
On the offense's performance...
Bradley and these receivers are growing together, but you also see an offensive line that's learning to work together. Our offense is not simple, but I think our offensive line is starting to get better. It's buying Bradley time and giving the receivers time to run the routes which is helping our football team grow. You see some good things happening. This was the first game all year we were able to run the football when we needed to burn the clock. That's an attitude. That's a mentality. I think on offense we're starting to develop that "Third and One" mentality.
On the play of Daniel Jolly...
He played tonight the way we need him to play. He's had that toe hurt and battled injuries and been frustrated. I'm just so excited because of what he can do for us. He was so excited in the dressing room after the game. He finally gave the performance that he feels he's capable of giving, and we can build on Daniel.
On Jeremy Castillo...
That's Jeremy. He's an excitable player. You can't get him to talk. He doesn't want to do the radio show. He doesn't want to do interviews, but on a football field he's just got this personality. Jeremy loves football. He loves to practice, he loves to play, and that's why he's led this football team in tackles the past two years.
On the Southeastern Louisiana offense...
They're one of the more patient offenses in the conference. There's a strength and a weakness in every coverage, and they know where that weakness is. They need 60, they get 60. They need 70, they get 70. You have to be disciplined when you face that offense.
Bradley George
On being in second place in the Southland standings...
It feels good that we've won our last two. It feels great being back in the hunt. Whatever our overall record is, it doesn't matter because we're 2-1 in conference. We've got pretty good momentum and hope we can head into Northwestern State with it.
On Cameron Luke's two touchdown performance...
It feels good knowing if I throw it up there, he'll go get it. He's one of the bigger and more physical receivers, has great hands and has been a hard worker. It's good that one week it's Chase, the next week it's Morris (Crosby) and this week it's Cameron (Luke)."

On the defensive line's performance...
It felt like for the first time this season as a defensive line we collectively hung together and elevated our game. Watching film the quarterback let go of the ball really fast and that puts a lot of pressure on the defensive backs, but as a defensive line we took it upon ourselves to help them out because they pass a lot more than they run. When you give any quarterback time he'll tear you apart, so we were just trying to do our best.
On the momentum the team is building...
We're getting that spark back. Defense or offense, we're getting that train rolling. Everyone is just proud and happy to be a part of it. This whole season we've been talking about how good we can be, but now we're starting to show people. We've got potential that we haven't even shown yet. Now we're really coming together and showing people what we've got. I got real tired of people saying last year was a fluke.
