Carroll High School: Was named the Class 5A Player of the Year in leading Southlake Carroll to a 16-0 record and a Class 5A state title in 2002 ... passed for 4,822 yards and 54 touchdowns, both state high school records ... also ran for more than 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns ... a First-Team All-State selection who was also named the District 7-5A Most Valuable Player ... tabbed as the Class 5A Offensive Player of the year and the DFW Player of the Year ... helped Southlake Carroll to the Class 4A state semifinals in 2001 as a running back and wide receiver.
