Ranked fifth among team leaders with 45 tackles...his 34 stops ranked third on the team...recorded a season-high 10 tackles against Baylor..had seven stops against Stephen F. Austin and six tackles against Sam Houston State...registered five tackles versus McNeese State and Southeastern Louisiana..led the Bobcats with nine punt returns for 82 yards.

Named All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference honorable mention as a freshman at Blinn College, where he played on the 2006 national championship team...had two interceptions during the year for the Buccaneers...registered 16 tackles during the year...junior college coach was Brad Franchione.

Three-year letter winner at defensive back and wide receiver...during his career, Katy was a combined 41-4...Gary Joseph-coached team captured state title sophomore year and were state finalists as a senior...squad captured three district titles...was a two-time, all-state and all-district selection...prep teammate Brian Ferris is also a member of the Texas State squad.
