Played in eight games last season, including the Bobcats 52-29 win over Stephen F. Austin...recorded two unassisted tackles, one of which came against Nicholls State...the first unassisted stop against South Dakota State.

Saw playing time as a redshirt freshman...was in on three tackles during the season...had two solo stops in the Bobcats' season-ending win at Sam Houston State...was named to the CapitalOne/Southland Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll...also a two-time Oak Farms Dairy Academic Award recipient at Texas State.

Was an All-District 27-4A and All-Comal County selection...registered 52 tackles and had two interceptions as a senior...had 74 tackles and an interception junior year when Canyon advanced to the state quarterfinals...team posted an 8-2 record senior year but a pair of overtime losses kept Canyon from the playoffs...high school coach was Les Davis...lettered two years for Canyon's baseball team.
