Moved from safety to the linebacker position during the off-season ... from the beginning to the end of spring drills, made huge strides ... will continue to receive more reps during training camp with hopes he will improve at the same rate he did during the spring ... has the ability and could become a productive member of the linebacking corps in the fall.

2004: Saw limited playing time as a sophomore, recording four solo tackles and one assist ... had a season-high three 3.0 tackles in the Bobcats' win over Nicholls State ... other solo stop came in Texas State's victory over McNeese State to snap a lengthy road losing streak.

2003: Got into the mix as a backup in the secondary as a red-shirt freshman ... had 10.5 total tackles (seven unassisted and seven assists) including 2.5 tackles for nine lost yards ... had 1.5 quarterback sacks and a quarterback hurry ... had a strong outing against McNeese State ... his 1.5 sacks came against the Cowboys ... tallied 5.5 tackles against McNeese ... also had multiple-tackle games the last two outings of the year - at Nicholls State and against Sam Houston ... was red-shirted in 2002, his first season at Texas State.
