2004: In just his first season at offensive line, after moving from defensive tackle, received his first starting nod at left guard when the Bobcats played host to Division I-A opponent Florida Atlantic ... also started at guard against Cal Poly the following week ... registered his third straight start of the season when he moved out to left tackle for the Bobcats' Southland Conference-opening 17-14 win over Stephen F. Austin ... in the SFA victory, was part of an offense which rushed for 215 yards and accounted for 365 yards of total offense.
2003: Was a reserve on the defensive line, posting 10 total tackles - four solo hits and 12 assists ... had a season-high six total stops against McNeese State and three tackles at Southern Utah.
2002: Played in a backup role for the Bobcats as a true freshman ... had three tackles during the season, including a season-high two tackles in the McNeese State game.
Katy High School: Earned two letters while playing for Coach Mike Johnson ... was a member of Katy's 2000 5A state championship team as a junior as the squad went 16-0 ... squad posted an 8-4 record second year ... was a two-time All-District 19-5A selection as well as twice selected to the All-Greater Houston team ... third-team all-state pick as a junior ... also a standout wrestler who won a district title at his weight his junior year.
Personal: Born Feb. 14, 1984 in Long Branch, N.J. ... son of Joel and Sharon Moore ... economics major ... also recruited by Central Florida, Arkansas State and Northwestern State before signing with the `Cats.
