The Bobcat Baseball team is off to another great start in 2010 with major sweeps over the likes of Houston and Penn State. The Bobcats still have premium home games versus Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU and the rest of the Southland Conference.

One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

Facilities Spotlight
The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

2008: Played in 11 games for the Bobcats ... tallied 22 tackles, including nine unassisted stops ... had a season highs of nine total and four unassisted tackles against Northwestern State ... also had four tackles against Montana in a NCAA Division I FCS playoff game.
College: Joined team in spring semester and participated in spring drills after attending UNLV as a part-time student.
High School: A two-year letterwinner at Martin HS ... Led the offensive line with 63 pancake blocks for the Warriors ... Earned All-District First-Team and All-Area Second-Team honors as a senior.
Personal: Born on Dec. 15, 1988 ... Son of Billy and Brenda Eshraghipour ... major is exercise and sports science.
