Started 10 of the 11 games he appeared in at tight end...hauled in 18 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown...lone score came on a two-yard catch against McNeese State...had four games with at least three catches, including four catches for 45 yards at Nicholls State...bested those totals the next week with against Sam Houston State, setting career highs with five receptions for 48 yards.

Ranked third on the team in receptions as a redshirt freshman, catching 18 passes for 138 yards...caught at least one pass in all but two games last fall...began his career by starting season opener against Tarleton State and catching three passes for 15 yards...had six multiple reception games including second game of the year at Kentucky when he had two receptions for eight yards...caught three passes for 26 yards against Nicholls State...also had three receptions for 32 yards in season-ending win at Sam Houston State...17-yard catch to the Bearkat two would set up Texas State's first touchdown...as a blocker, helped Texas State average 351.64 yards of offense per game, second in the Southland Conference...total offense average was also 38th among FCS programs...`Cats averaged 201 yards passing and 150 yards passing.

Four-sport athlete in high school...three-time All-District 31-1A selection at wide receiver...also named all-district first-team as a senior at defensive end and was a second-team all-district pick on the defensive side of the ball as a junior...an honorable mention all-state selection at defensive end...prep team was an area finalist senior year and advanced to the regional quarterfinals sophomore year...high school coach was Texas State alum David Sine...also a four-year letter winner in basketball and baseball...baseball squad was the area champs sophomore season and regional finalists junior year...captured a Class A state track individual championship with a throw of 165-7 in the discus.

Born Aug. 27, 1986 in San Marcos...son of Billy and Marcia Dunk...father played wide receiver for the Bobcats in the late 70s and 1980...two older brothers also played for the Bobcats...brother Justin played tight end while Cameron played linebacker...exercise and sports science major who is minoring in recreation.
