2006: Had one reception during his sophomore season, catching a pass in the Bobcats' win over Texas Southern.
2005: Saw action in five home games before getting his first career receptions while playing in the NCAA playoffs ... first career reception was a seven-yard grab against Georgia Southern in the Bobcats' first NCAA Division I-AA playoff game ... following week had a 14-yard reception against Cal Poly ... play came during a third-and-nine situation in the first half ... pass reception would set up a field goal attempt from the 10-yard line which would have accounted for Texas State's first points of the game ... ended the year with two catches for 21 yards.
2004: Red-shirted first year in the Texas State program.
Alamo Heights High School: Two-time All-District 27-4A pick as well as twice named to the San Antonio Express-News All-City First-Team ... caught 56 passes for 1,056 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior ... had three, 100-yard receiving games in the state playoffs ... prep team was the Region IV champions and state semifinalists ... played for Don Byrd-coached team which went 13-2 senior season ... also a standout basketball player who averaged 16 points and nine rebounds an outing ... first-team all-district and all-region selection as well as selected to the Express-News All-City Super Team ... prep coach was Charlie Boggess ... squad was the regional semifinalists and two-time District 27-4A champions.
