Texas State head basketball coaches Doug Davalos and Suzanne Fox will join the West Division head coaches in a Southland Conference preseason basketball media conference call Thursday morning. The coaches will participate in a question-and-answer session from the media.

The call will begin at 10 a.m. with the SLC preseason teams and polls announcement. Lamar men's coach Steve Roccaforte will open the session at 10:10 a.m. Each coach will have a ten-minute interview session. Davalos is slated to begin at 11:50, and Fox will begin at noon.

The teleconference began Wednesday morning with the East Division coaches and will conclude this afternoon.
