Madison HS: Lettered four years as a guard under head coach Harrison Ham ... helped his team to a 21-10 record and an appearance in the regional quarterfinals his senior year ... named the District 10-3A Most Valuable Player ... led Class 3A schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in scoring, averaging 23 points to go along with six rebounds and four rebounds as a senior ... was also named the MVP of the Joplin, Mo., Basketball Tournament as well as to the all-tournament team at the East Texas Shootout held in Beaumont ... also a member of all-region and all-state teams ... as a junior, was named the Offensive Player of the Year in District 10-4A, was all-region and second-team all-state.
