Received the Rudy Davalos Playmaker award after leading Texas State with 3.8 assists...also chipped in 6.3 points and 1.9 steals in 23.4 minutes per contest... shot 40.4 percent (21-52) from behind the three-point arc and 72.0 percent (36-50) at the free throw line...scored a season-high 18 points at Northwestern State...also netted 14 points at Texas and 13 points at Texas-Pan American...handed out a season-high nine assists versus Prairie View A&M and had eight assists against Rice...collected a season-best seven steals against Kennesaw State...also recorded four assists at Northwestern State and UT-Pan American.
Junior College
Set a school record for most assists in a season at Lee after averaging 9.0 per game as a sophomore...also chipped in with 11 points, five rebounds and 2.5 steals... shot 51 percent from the field and made 40 percent of his three-point attempts...named a Third-Team All-Region XIV selection after earning Honorable Mention All-Region honors as a freshman...averaged 10 points, five assists and two steals...was named the Male Student-Athlete of the Year at Lee.

Averaged 17 points, 5.6 assists and three steals per game as a senior...named District 29-4A MVP and Brazoria County MVP...named a First-Team All-Region selection...averaged 10 points per game as a junior...Angleton had a combined 49-18 record during his junior and senior seasons...squad captured back-to-back district titles, going undefeated each season...lost to eventual state champion, Houston Jones, by two points in the 2004 Class 4A state playoffs.

Major is exercise and sports science...born on September 4, 1985...son of Ron and Sheryl Jefferson...hobbies include watching t.v. and listening to music...his dad played basketball and ran track for at Huston-Tillotson in Austin and his cousin, Al Jefferson, plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves...chose Texas State after being recruited by Lamar, UTSA, New Hampshire and Tarleton State.
