The Bobcat Baseball team is off to another great start in 2010 with major sweeps over the likes of Houston and Penn State. The Bobcats still have premium home games versus Texas A&M, Baylor, TCU and the rest of the Southland Conference.

One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

Facilities Spotlight
The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Signed with Texas State back in May out of Hamilton College ... was a junior college All-America selection as a sophomore at Hamilton.
Hamilton College: Named a National Junior College Athletic Association First-Team All-American as well as named the most valuable player of NJCAA Region IX ... as a sophomore at Hamilton College, averaged 25 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and four steals ... shot 53 percent from the field and connected on 83 percent of his free throw attempts ... ranked among the Top 25 in every individual statistical category in NJCAA Division II ... helped the Hamilton Aliens to the NJCAA Division II national tournament as the team finished with a 25-9 record ... was a Second-Team NJCAA All-American as a freshman as Hamilton posted a 26-6 record ... during his two-year career, Hill scored over 1,400 points.
Sherwood HS: Averaged 14 points, six rebounds and five assists per game for coach Mel Laughner ... also lettered in football where he caught 45 passes for nine touchdowns as a wide receiver.
