Panola Junior College: Averaged 10 points and seven rebounds a game for Panola's 24-9 team that was the conference champions and a regional finalist ... played for Scott Monarch at the Carthage, Texas, junior college ... played alongside several Division I caliber teammates ... as a freshman averaged 16 points and 15 boards and set an NJCAA record with 36 rebounds in a single game.
