About the Diamond Sweethearts
Diamond Sweethearts is a special interest organization filled with diverse and dedicated individuals who assist the Texas State Baseball program. Our priorities are to develop more dedication to the baseball program through merchandise sales, promotions, and greater exposure for the team. The Diamond Sweethearts were established in 2001 and have since shown tremendous popularity among the students. Girls who show spirit, individuality, and commitment are carefully chosen to represent our organization as D-Sweets.

Activities and Duties
There are many duties that go into being a Diamond Sweetheart and it is a privilege to be apart of something so fun yet so rewarding. Duties range from conducting game-day operations, helping out at school functions, community service opportunities, and after all the hard work we find time to hang out with each other at social events.

Requirements
Try-outs for Diamond Sweethearts are held once a year at the beginning of September. Those interested must be a full-time Texas State student and have a 2.25 GPA. Members are selected by an application/interview process and are chosen by the campus advisor and Diamond Sweetheart officers.
