Texas State Grabs Nine in 2008 Signing Class
Nov. 14, 2007
SAN MARCOS - Texas State University baseball coach Ty Harrington announced that nine student-athletes are expected to join the Bobcat baseball program in the 2008 season. Wednesday marks the NCAA signing day for prep teams and junior college athletes who are committing to compete on the collegiate level. The 2008 Bobcat signing class features a mix of junior college transfers and high school athletes that Harrington feels will be a tremendous addition to the team. "This may be one of the most athletic recruiting classes we have had in years," Harrington said. "Our baseball program will continue to grow with the players that we have signed. This is one of the most exciting times in the history of this program." Texas State will formally announce the signing class along with their individual detailed career accomplishments Thursday, along with thoughts from head coach Ty Harrington.
