Baseball Fan Appreciation Day Set for Wednesday

SAN MARCOS - The Texas State baseball team will hold their 1st-Annual Fan Appreciation Day Wednesday, Nov. 4 at the Bobcat Baseball Field. The team will also close out the fall season with an inter-squad Fall World Series game, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Tailgating will be open to the public, beginning at 4 p.m. and live music from The Adam Scott Band featuring Court Nance begins one hour later.

The Texas State baseball team and the Diamond Sweethearts will host a meet-and-greet session after the game to sign autographs and get to know the 2010 team.

Promotional activities include the dizzy bat race, stanky-leg dance contest, home run derby and much more.

Texas State baseball will open the 2010 home season Mar. 3 against Rice.
