The Bobcat men's basketball team is headed to Katy, TX to take on the rest of the Southland Conference at the Merrell Center in the 2010 SLC Basketball Tournament. One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Junior College: Competed two years under head coach Britt Smith and Howard College.
High School: Earned four letter pitching at Lake Highlands High School for head coach Jay Higgins ... named 2nd-Team All-District in his freshman and sophomore season ... named 1st-Team in his junior season ... claimed District 9-5A MVP and All-State honors his senior year with the Wildcats ... played summer league with coach Rusty Hill, helping the team to the Connie Mack World Series two consecutive seasons.
Personal: Fielding Pittman was born May 8, 1988 to Roseanne McAdams and Michael Pittman ... pursuing a degree in Business Management.
