SAN MARCOS - Texas State cross country will host its annual invitational on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Gary Job Corps. The all-day event will begin at 8:00 a.m.

Over 1,100 runners from across Texas are slated to compete. The event will feature events at both the college and university level as well as the high school level.

Among the colleges and universities joining the Bobcats this weekend are Angelo State, Texas A&M Kingsville, Texas A&M International, the University of Texas at Austin, Texas-San Antonio, Western Texas College and Saint Mary's.
