Final Stats

SAN ANTONIO - Texas State's Matt Renner clocked a 10th-place time of 17:00 to pace the Bobcats at the 2004 Whataburger/UTSA Invitational Saturday.

Two other Bobcats finished just outside the top 10 as Paulo Sosa finished 13ths with a time of 17:15 while J.D. Klimczyk was 14th, finishing with a time of 17:20.

Texas State's Ekaterina Kostetskaya placed 30th in the women's event with a time of 22:14.

UTSA's Katherine Kng won the women's event with a time of 19:09 while Texas-Pan American's Aaron Castro clocked a 16:19 to medal in the men's event.

Both the Bobcat men's and women's teams will be back in action Saturday when they play host to the Texas Invitational.
