SAN ANTONIO - Texas State's Samantha Evola clocked a time of 20:24 to post a sixth-place finish among collegians at the UTSA Invitational Friday. Evola's performance led the Bobcat women to a fourth-place finish at the event.

On the men's side, Jacob Wells' time of 16:50 was the Bobcats' top performance and good for 29th overall.

Texas State's varsity cross country squads did not compete in the invitational, instead focusing on next week's Cowboy Jamboree at Oklahoma State University.
