COLLEGE STATION - Texas State's Tenley Determan and Andrew McCartin both posted top 10 finishes in their respective races as the Bobcats competed Saturday at the Texas A&M Invitational.

Determan was the Bobcat women's top finisher, clocking a time of 19:08 on the 5056-meter Penberthy Intramural Fields course. Along with a Whitney Perkins, who finished in a time of 19:22, they led Texas State to a sixth-place team finish among the 11-team field.

McCartin led the Texas State men's squad with a time of 26:18 on the 7942-meter men's course. Also posting a top 20 finish Saturday was Alex Escontrias who finished in a time of 26:43. The Bobcat men placed fifth among 13 collegiate teams.

Texas State is back in action on Friday at the UTSA Invitational.
