The Bobcat men's basketball team is headed to Katy, TX to take on the rest of the Southland Conference at the Merrell Center in the 2010 SLC Basketball Tournament. The Bobcats will play their first game on Wednesday, March 10th. To purchase tickets call the Texas State Ticket Office at 512-245-2272.

One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

2006: Top finisher for the Bobcats at the Southland Conference Championship, covering the 8K course in 26:16 ... paced the Bobcats at the Cowboy Jamboree, clocking a time of 26.30 on the 8K course to finish in 45th place ... in final tune-up for SLC meet, placed 16th at the Texas Invitational in a time of 20:05 ... 20:05 time came on a 6.305K course in Austin ... led the Bobcats at the Texas A&M Invitational with a 10th-place time of 26:18 on a 7942 meter course ... helped Texas State place fifth among 13 competing teams ...
2006 Track and Field: Competed for the Bobcats at the Southland Conference Indoors in both the 3000 meters and 5000 meters.
2005: Led Texas State to a 16th place finish at the Cowboy Jamboree at Oklahoma State, finishing 73rd in the 8k with a time of 27:36 ... placed 31st in the 8k run at the SLC Cross Country Championship.
High School: Earned All State and All DFW honors ... coached by Richard Grubbs ... lettered three times in Cross Country and four times in track ... member of an 8-5A State Co-Champion team ... attended Cherry Creek High School in Greewood Village, Colo., his freshman year and Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas his sophomore year ... personal records include: 15:20 (5K), 14:50 (three mile), 4:30 (1600m) and 9:41 (3200m).
