AUSTIN - Texas State junior Gatis Spunde recorded another NCAA Regional qualifying time while competing in the 400 meter hurdles at the 80th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Thursday.

Spunde clocked a time of 52.36 to place second in his heat during the prelims Thursday. He was off of his season-best time of 52:36 set earlier this year at Texas.

The Texas Relays continue through Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
