The Bobcat men's basketball team is headed to Katy, TX to take on the rest of the Southland Conference at the Merrell Center in the 2010 SLC Basketball Tournament. One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

2008: Had a time of 12.90 in the 100-meters at the Texas Invitational...At the SLC Outdoor Championships recorded a time of 12.28 in the 100-meters.
High School: Graduated from Douglas Macarthur in the top twentieth percentile... four-year letter winner under the guidance of coach Meador...given All-District Athlete accolades...finished 3rd in district 100 and 200 meter contest her senior year ... member of district 3rd place 4x100 meter relay ... regional qualifier finishing 4th in the 100.
Personal: Born March 13, 1989 in Bellflower, California ... daughter of Virginia Whiteside ... majoring in psychology.
