2004: All-conference performer after placing second in the 60 meters at the SLC Indoor Championships in 6.94 ... ran a season-best 6.90 in the 60 meters in the semifinals ... earned All-SLC honors outdoors after running third leg on 4x100 relay team that placed third in 41.07 ... finished 12th at the outdoor conference meet in the 100 meters in 10.93 ... ran a 10.81 at Houston Tom Tellez Invitational ... closed out his football career last fall ... registered 11.5 tackles including 1.5 for losses ... also had an interception from his defensive back position.

Seguin High School: Was a standout for nearby Seguin High, earning three varsity letters, while playing for two different coaches ... was a starter at receiver and defensive back as a junior and senior for Coach Bobby Ortiz ... started for Mark Smith as a sophomore ... earned all-district honors in both positions for two years and had a school-record 11 interceptions in his career ... also a standout track athlete with a high school best of 10.47 in the 100-meters, winning district as a senior ... also ran a 21.78 in the 200-meters.
