2008: Took first in the high jump at the UH Invitational with a height of 1.68 meters (5-6).
North Texas: Competed under the direction of head coach Rick Watkins before transferring to Texas State.
High School: Three sport letterman at Navarro High School ... four-time district high jump champion with four appearances at State coached by Steve Zaleski ... assisted basketball team to four district championships at post position .. played front row for coach Jackie Baker, taking home four volleyball district championships.
Personal: Born January 9, 1988 in Seguin to Tommy and Christie Hewitt...mother, grandfather Thomas and uncle Richard Wenzel also attended Texas State .... Has two sisters, Amber (17) and Heather (14).
