The Bobcat men's basketball team is headed to Katy, TX to take on the rest of the Southland Conference at the Merrell Center in the 2010 SLC Basketball Tournament. One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

2009: At the UH Invitational ran a time of 7.00 in the 60 meters...competed at the SLC Indoor Championships recording a time of 7.11 in the 60 meters and 23.45 in the 200 meters...began the outdoor season at the Trinity Invitational grabbing first in the 100 meters with a time of 10.50 and second in the 200 meters in 22.03...won crowns in the 100 and 200 meters at the Tiger Relays clocking times of 10.71 and 22.22...grabbed the crown at the UTSA Relays in the 100 meters with a time of 10.49 for a personal-best and the seventh fastest time by an individual in school history...recorded a time of 21.91 in the 200 meters at the Sooner Invite...at SLC Outdoor Championships placed sixth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.61...a member of the 4x100 meter relay team that qualified for NCAA Regionals.
High School: Letterwinner at Cuero HS for coach Mark Reeve...state track champions in 2005, 2006 and 2008...district champions 2005-08...also played running back and defensive end on the football team.
Personal: Born on December 4, 1989 to Hazel Shaw...siblings, Corey and Corion...majoring in exercise sports science.
