NEW POLICY: Prime Seating at Bobcat Stadium for 2009 Season

For the 2009 Texas State Football season the following sections in Bobcat Stadium have been designated as Prime Seating areas:

Section C - Rows 11-25

Section B - Rows 23-25

Section D - Rows 23-25

Section CC - Rows 1-5

In the past, to purchase seats in a designated Prime Seating section, a season ticket holder had to be a donor to the Bobcat Club at the $650 level or higher. For 2009, the Texas State Athletic Department will adjust this policy and implement a per seat contribution level to the Bobcat Club in Prime Seating Sections. A per seat contribution level is a common practice used throughout college athletics and encourages greater support of the department's annual scholarship giving fund. The shift in policy comes at a time where dollars raised through contributions to the Bobcat Club are more critical than ever. The increasing demand for summer, medical, and fifth year scholarships, along with the additional scholarships that will be added once the FBS move is made makes increased giving to the Bobcat Club an absolute priority. A per seat contribution policy at Bobcat Stadium rewards donors by allowing them to purchase more of the best seats due to their generosity to the Bobcat Club.

Section C - Rows 23-25; $350 per seat to the Bobcat Club

Section B - Rows 23-25; $300 per seat to the Bobcat Club

Section D - Rows 23-25; $300 per seat to the Bobcat Club

Section C - Rows 11-22; $200 per seat to the Bobcat Club

Section CC - Rows 1-5; $100 per seat to the Bobcat Club

The following represents a donation and ticket cost breakdown if Mr. Bobcat was to renew all of his 4 season tickets in the Prime Seating area for 2009. As a Bobcat Club member he would pay the lower seasont ticket rate of $84. Please note there will be no tickets associated with Bobcat Club membership as in the past with the Gold Level and above.

Mr. Bobcat has four (4) seats on Row 23 in Section B. His per seat contribution level is $300. Therefore, to purchase his seats for the 2009 season, Mr. Bobcat would need make a minimum contribution of $1200 (4 seats x $300) to the Bobcat Club. His season ticket cost would be $168 (4 tickets x $84 Bobcat Club season ticket rate).

Priority Point System and Giving History
The Priority Point System will be used to determine priority when allocating all season ticket upgrades in prime seating sections, ticket allocations for postseason contests and special athletic events. Your athletic department giving history is based on gifts to the Bobcat Club, restricted sport programs, endowments, and capital gifts you have made since 1998.

• Three (3) POINTS for each $100 cash contribution during the current year (Bobcat Club and restricted sport program giving).
• One (1) POINT for each $100 contributed to a capital building project or scholarship endowment.
• Corporate sponsors with BC Memberships within Marketing Agreements and Gift-In-Kind donors to Bobcat Club will be credited with half of the applicable point area (3/2 = 1.5)
• One (1) POINT for each $100 contributed to the Bobcat Club during past years 1998 to 2004.
• One (1) POINT for each year of being a consecutive paid season ticket holder for previous five years since 2004.
