Bobcat Club Information

What is the Bobcat Club?
The Bobcat Club is an organization of alumni, fans, former student-athletes, coaches and friends joining together to provide current student-athletes with a first-class education and a chance to excel in the classroom and on the playing field. Your individual or corporate membership in the Bobcat Club will help supply scholarships for our Texas State student-athletes in particular fifth year, medical and summer.

Why help fund athletic scholarships? In this day in age with the rising costs of higher education, supporting student-athlete scholarships makes sense. It is key we provide our student athletes with the scholarship dollars now in the summer and in their fifth year to help keep them on track for graduation and remain eligible. Our athletes are students first, and helping support a scholarship mission allows these student-athletes to achieve the goal they set our for when they chose to come to Texas State, that is to receive a degree from this great University!

Bobcat Club and the Drive Bobcat Club members have an even bigger chance to make an impact as Texas State continues The Drive to advance to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the NCAA's highest level of competition. The move to the FBS level will require additional scholarships for football as well as a new varsity women's program. This is where supporting the Bobcat Club is critical, as more scholarship dollars must be raised to put our department in the position to make the move to FBS.

Membership Benefits Joining the Bobcat Club and knowing you will make a difference in the lives of dedicated Bobcat student-athletes is the greatest benefit. However, there's more. Parking privileges, receiving the monthly E-Magazine, pre-game reception tickets at football in the Sac N Pac room, and invitations to special Bobcat Club activities are a few of the special benefits.
