Chris Park is in his fifth year as Texas State's Assistant Athletic Director for Development. In his role, Park is responsible for fundraising for the Bobcat Club and corporate trade contracts including the courtesy car program and sits on senior staff.

Park arrived at Texas State after more than two years at Sam Houston State, where he served as the Bearkats' Athletic Development and Marketing Coordinator from January 2004 to July 2005 before spending August 2005 through July 2006 as the school's External Operations Coordinator.

While at Sam Houston, Park coordinated and developed revenue generation, oversaw the operations of the Bearkat Partners organization and Bearkat Internet Radio, coordinated in-game entertainment and operations schedules as well as assisting the director of athletics with private fund-raising implementation and marketing plans for ten intercollegiate athletic programs.

Prior to Sam Houston State, Park held a pair of positions in the department of athletics at his alma mater, Texas A&M University. While at A&M, Park worked in both the Marketing and Media Relations offices.

At Texas A&M Park served as the original 12th Man Team Rewards Program Coordinator, where he managed the program's budget and related corporate sponsorships, hired and scheduled staff and oversaw marketing efforts.

Park's athletic administration career began in his home town of Fort Worth, Texas, in 2001 as a Marketing intern at Texas Christian University, where he developed corporate sponsorship proposals, worked with ticketing and executed marketing research for the department.

A 2002 graduate of the Lowry Mays School of Business at Texas A&M, Park also holds a master's degree from the College of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M, which was completed in the spring of 2004.

He and his wife, Anna, have a son, Matthew and reside in San Marcos.
