The Texas State Athletics Department would like to highlight those who have purchased a Legacy suite at Bobcat Stadium for the 2009, 2010 and 2011 football seasons. Fry Roofing, Inc. was one of the first companies to support the new facility being constructed at Bobcat Stadium. The company was started by Don Fry, Sr., who currently serves as president, while his two sons, Don, Jr. and Chris Fry, serve as vice presidents for the Austin and San Antonio offices, respectively. Don, Jr. is a proud Texas State graduate and took some time to help provide insight on the family's business and their passion for Texas State.

How are you connected to Texas State?
"I came to Texas State my junior year to complete my degree in business management. I knew Texas State was a great school to attend, joined a professional business fraternity, and was elected as President of (Alpha Kappa Psi), my senior year. I also helped as the chairman of the River Raft Race. It was great to be a part of one of the largest events in San Marcos."
Why did you decide to purchase a football suite?
"Since I had graduated, Texas State has made many improvements in its athletics program to strive towards being a top school in Texas. We wanted to demonstrate our support for the university and help build a larger fan base. Since they have added the new business school, expanded the recreation center, and continue to improve the Texas State brand, we are excited to be a part of it."

"My favorite moment was meeting my wife, Kim."

"I believe this is just the beginning of a great athletic program. We are getting recognized by top recruits as a great place to study and play. With the prospect of moving to the NCAA Division 1 FBS level in football, there is no reason why we can't compete with UT, Texas Tech, and Texas A&M for top players. With support from the students and community, the Bobcats can be a nationally recognized program in the next five years."
