The Bobcat men's basketball team is headed to Katy, TX to take on the rest of the Southland Conference at the Merrell Center in the 2010 SLC Basketball Tournament. One of the best traditions at Texas State is the cheer program which recently competed at the UCA College Cheerleading National Championships in Orlando, FL where they had another great showing. Tryouts for the Texas State Spirit Program are scheduled for April.

The Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Bobcat Stadium West Side Complex is the first of many improvements that will take place at Bobcat Stadium. The new state-of-the-art structure includes 15 luxury Legacy suites and a Champions Club Level with 450 open-air seats adjacent to a lounge giving fans premium comfort as they watch the Bobcats.

Bobcats 'Eat'em Up' in Heart Walk
Feb. 11, 2008 SAN MARCOS - Help Texas State Athletics and the Hays County Heart Walk in their goal to help raise money to benefit the research of heart disease and stroke! The Texas State Athletic Department is setting the goal of $4,000 to donate to the American Heart Walk Association. The proceeds will go to the Hays County Start! Heart Walk. You can pledge your donations at Texas State Heart Walk Team. We want all of our fans to join our team! Come out and walk on behalf of Texas State Athletics, or just donate to support this great cause. The walk will take place at Bobcat Stadium on Saturday, March 29, 2008. The registration for teams is Saturday, March 29 at 8:00 am following with the walk at 9:00 am. With the San Marcos Community volunteering for the walk, all donations go to Hays County Start. Join the Texas State Athletic Department's Team and donate today! Everyone is welcome to join us on March 29 for a great wide spread community activity! |
