2010 Texas Roadhouse Bobcat Bonanza To Be Held On March 20

SAN MARCOS, Texas - The Bobcat Club and the Texas State Athletics Department is offering fans a unique experience in what promises to be a day full of excitement, entertainment and great food when they host the 22nd Annual Bobcat Bonanza brought to you by Texas Roadhouse on March 20 at the Texas State campus. This year, the Bobcat Bonanza is returning to campus and will offer fans an opportunity to watch the Spring Football Game from the new Champions Club Level at the Jerry D. and Linda Gregg Fields Westside Stadium Complex. The day begins with a golf tournament at Plum Creek in Kyle, Texas, with a scramble format that begins at 9:00 a.m. in conjunction with the event. Later that day at 6:00 p.m., fans will be able to watch the Spring Football Game in style from the club level and enjoy a meal from Texas Roadhouse, along with drinks. There also will be a silent auction and musical entertainment provided with all proceeds going to support the Bobcat Club's Student-Athlete Scholarship fund. The Bobcat Bonanza is the athletic department's largest event fundraiser which raises scholarships for Texas State Student-Athletes through ticket and table sales, and a live and silent auction. The Bobcat Club is offering three different options for the events. For fans wishing to play golf and attend the Bobcat Bonanza Spring Football Game on the Champions Club Level, the package includes: a golf team of four, range balls breakfast and lunch, which will be served at Plum Creek and two tickets for each golfer to the Bonanza Spring Football Game for $1000. There is also a golf tournament only package that includes a golf team of four, range balls and breakfast and lunch provided at the course for $600. Fans can also purchase tickets to attend the Bobcat Bonanza and watch the Spring Football Game in style on the Champions Club Level for $80. The Athletics Department will give Champions Club Level seat holders the first option to purchase tickets and secure their seats for the Bobcat Bonanza-Spring Football Game event. Reservations to attend the Bobcat Bonanza Spring Football Game and/or play in the Golf Tournament are available by contacting the Bobcat Club Office at (512) 245-2114 or by printing off and sending in the attached order form. |
